ak 47 gun parts

This is the little girl who makes me take pictures with her every day in Newspaper.

Anyways, Iapos;m super excited for Formal, but IKNOW for sure that Iapos;ll still be stressing over schoolwork.

I need to CLEANCLEANCLEAN, and my mom took me to the mall and Marshalls, where we practically wasted 2 hours of walking around.
I could have been at home, doing APCHEMhomework and my room could have been spic and span by then.
Now, Ihave to pull an all-nighter cleaning, because weapos;re having visitors over this weekend.

foi gra

To be fair, I will start out this post by saying that I really like my students this semester. They are interested and interesting and they do their work and come to class and donapos;t offer lame excuses when they donapos;t, for the most part. They have also been quite understanding with the upheaval in the schedule that various factors have rendered necessary.

But now they are doing their last group project, which is an interview. And most of the groups are doing ok. But one group is on my nerve. It seems that there is a guy that has pretty much taken on the project by himself. He stayed late to complain to me about how the rest of them never do anything. I listened as objectivel as I could, but I have seen the group work together. He came to the first meeting for this assignment with everything already planned for a topic that none of the rest of them knew anything about. The choice he left them was to say, "I donapos;t think thatapos;s a good idea for our group," (which is totally what I would have done) and wasted all the time he spent or to go along with it and not be able to contribute that much. So when he said that he was tired of doing everything, I responded by suggesting that perhaps a good way not to get stuck doing everything would be to, well, not do everything. To choose a topic that they could all agree on and work equally on. Hell, even to choose a topic together.

He didnapos;t like it. He got a little huffy with me, actually, which, as you all know, goes over so very well with me. He said, "When I was in high school (flub #1), I learned - and my parents agreed (flub #2) - that if I wanted anything done well, I had to do it myself." Then he ranted and whined at me about how they should be able to go with any topic he gave them. So basically, he wants them to accept his doing all the work but also to do some of it so that he doesnapos;t have to do it. Iapos;m not sure that I ended up understanding what it is he wanted, because it all seemed very irrational.

Student - if you donapos;t want to be the one doing all the work, then maybe leave some work for the others to do. If you donapos;t, you forfeit your right to complain about it. I empathize with your bad past experiences working with groups - weapos;ve all had nightmarish group issues. But you need to realize that those things are, indeed, in the past and the current group you are with is not exhibiting the behavior that you are projecting onto each of them. They seem very frustrated that there is nothing for them to do but try to make sense of this job market that they know nothing about. They donapos;t want to coast through any more than you want them to. So leave high school in high school - this is a different animal. Iapos;m sorry that your teachers and parents were such enablers to allow you to carry the whole burden of group projects on yourself, but thatapos;s not going to fly here. This is a college course in communication, which includes learning to work better in teams. In my class, when I say "group project," that is what I damn well mean. The process is just as important as the product. If what you produce isnapos;t the result of a group effort, I donapos;t see any reason that I am obligated to give you a grade on the assignment.

chalk it up meaning

Apparently kris cannot get the pics off this laptop to give to us (its his work laptop and they lock any burning stuff) so what we have to do is get them from the picasa site weapos;ve been uploading them on. The best way to do that he said is to basically borrow nickapos;s laptop and download picasa on it (itapos;s very small) and then we can move folders to and from accounts. It may take some time considering we have over 800 pictures (there wonapos;t be many more.. Just some last minute Tokyo stuff tomorrow)

The pictures are not compressed or anything, so thatapos;s good. Itapos;s just not going to be as easy as bringing a cd with you. Which means if you get bored and have access to a computer between now and the time I get home you can start collecting the pictures.

also, all of our kyoto pictures are up now... After MUCH walking. I popped my first blister today.

I donapos;t feel so much on the outside anymore, but Iapos;m still not on the inside. I miss having people. I miss deep connections. I miss LOVE, damnit
And now, practically everyone in my dorm has had family visit (or vice versa). Eeeexcept me and one chick whose parents are in Thailand. Because thatapos;s where they live.

Academically, I feel like things are going fine. Iapos;ve got... Two mid-terms, I think?
Iapos;m getting sick, though. Iapos;m pretty sure I had a fever last night (was super brain dead), but took some ibuprofen. Still have a sore throat and a cough. On and off headache.
But took a nap today, and it improved.
Finally, sleep sounds appealing again.

The photoshoot didnapos;t happen. Apparently Merlin caught something strange over the weekend, probably from the after party of Rocky Horror. I didnapos;t really do anything Sunday, although I clearly should have. This morning was soooooooooooooo stressful. I called Ryan to clarify the assignment, because the directions were the most confusing ever, leaving out IMPORTANT things and adding all this stuff that you didnapos;t actuall have to do. BAH. So, once I realized that printing them out here wasnapos;t going to work, I tried sending in an order to Longs, which took way more time than it should have. Words canapos;t even begin to explain how stressful this was...just writing about it irks me.

So I was worrying about photo all day, and amoungst the 3 and a half hours of photo I have today, Intro to Logic was squashed in. That was just dreadful. NEVER have I felt so tired, and plus I hadnapos;t done the reading. Some guy named Brendon (trying to be better at remembering names) somehow recognised me from Rocky Horror, odd, Ididnapos;t recognise him. I found that Iapos;ve been talking to a rather large number of people this quarter, but Iapos;ve also realized that it takes a special something that people rarely have (I havenapos;t placed it yet) that attracts me to them and makes me actually go out of my way to see them.

I feel like typing in x-large today. Well night school was pretty, interesting today. WE PAINTED Ive been dieing to paint. Tomorrow I am getting out of school early because my mom does not work and shes going to pick me up after first period, or whatever. Me and some old friend has been talking a lot lately.
Hint: I met said person at Kathleenapos;s 15s practices. Yeah, weapos;ve been talking a lot, and its good because there was no true reason why we stopped talking. A bunch of non-sense. So I am thinking of going to bed soon but itapos;s only 9:49...pm of course. But I honestly donapos;t have anything else to do tonight. I donapos;t think I have any homework...who knows.

Oh man, I spilled black paint on my new breast cancer bag...and i went crazy, you donapos;t understand. That bag cost 99 cents, but still...it was really important to me. And I got so excited when I bought it.
